SHA-SHIB GROUP

Sha-Shib Group’s Advanced Training Program for AME Students

At Sha-Shib Group, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) training is delivered with a commitment to both academic rigour and real-world applicability. Across all its institutes, the training strictly adheres to the syllabus laid down by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), incorporating a balanced blend of theoretical instruction in classrooms and hands-on practical sessions in advanced laboratories and workshops.

To further enhance the learning experience and ensure students gain a competitive edge in the aviation industry, Sha-Shib Group has introduced the exclusive ‘Advanced Training Program’. This program is specially curated for enrolled students and goes beyond the regular curriculum to provide industry-aligned exposure and skill development.

Key Features of the Advanced Training Program:
  • MRO Familiarisation: Students gain insights into the functioning of Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) organizations owned and operated by the Sha-Shib Group. This exposure helps them understand the day-to-day operations and complexities involved in maintaining aircraft to global standards.
  • CAMO Familiarisation: The program includes training sessions within Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisations (CAMOs) of the Sha-Shib Group. Here, students learn about regulatory compliance, aircraft documentation, maintenance planning, and airworthiness certification procedures.
  • Live Aircraft System Training: Students are trained on actual live and functional aircraft located across Sha-Shib Group's institutes and partner maintenance companies. This practical learning experience gives them a firsthand understanding of aircraft systems and their operations in real environments.
  • Specialised Equipment and System Training: Training sessions are conducted in Sha-Shib Group’s BMTO-certified laboratories, where industry professionals offer guidance on advanced system operations, troubleshooting, and modern aircraft technologies.
  • Soft Skills and Organisational Behaviour: Recognising the importance of professional conduct, the program integrates modules on soft skills, teamwork, leadership, and communication, essential traits for any aviation professional.
  • Communication Development: Dedicated modules focus on enhancing the verbal and written communication skills of students to prepare them for technical documentation, report writing, and global aviation interactions.

This holistic approach ensures that students are not only academically qualified but also practically skilled, industry-ready, and confident professionals. The Advanced Training Program bridges the gap between theory and practice, allowing students to engage deeply with real-world scenarios, improve technical expertise, and develop a polished professional persona, all while working towards their DGCA license. This initiative solidifies Sha-Shib Group’s reputation as a leader in aviation education and a launchpad for successful careers in the aviation maintenance sector.
