The duration of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course is 03 years, which is divided into six semesters of six months each, covering all the modules of respective category The entire course consists of basic knowledge training, basic knowledge examination, practical training and practical assessment. Both the Theory and practical training is imparted in each semester and accordingly the semester exams are conducted for theory and practical. Further in this two years training program all the learners of AAE Bengaluru will be imparted the practical training on airports in Maintenance organizations where they will work in actual working environment. In this duration learners have to appear for two different types of examinations i.e. Semester Exams and Modules Exams.
Along with AME course we offer Bachelor Degree in Science Interested students can also do AME course along with Bachelor Degree in Science simultaneously, . Doing both the course is not mandatory, it is an optional choice for the students, if they want to do both the program, they can pursue the course without any additional charges, university registration fee and university exam fee shall be paid separately by the student. Dual course is a combined course of Bachelor Degree and Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, in which students can appear for two different examinations for issue of Degree and Licence. Both the courses will be running parallel to each other, at the end students will have both Bachelor of Degree in Science & Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, by making him eligible for both Aircraft Maintenance and other General jobs. This will also enhance the placement probabilities
1. Semester Exams: All the applicable Modules are divided into six semesters. In Each semester both theoretical and practical exams are conducted in the college premises under supervision of DGCA approved Training manager. If anyone fails to clear any paper in semester he/she gets another chance to appear for resemester within 30days.2. Module Exams: Apart from the semester exams every student has to appear Modular Examinations which is conducted by CEO, DGCA, and Govt. of India in Bengaluru Three sessions of module exams are conducted in a year and a student can appear for four modules in a session. If anyone fails to clear any module, he/she can reappear it in next session.
